Davidoff's Master Blenders selected the distinctive wrapper for Royal Release due to its exceptional beauty and lustre. This wrapper, exclusively reserved for the Davidoff Royal Release line, graces no other Davidoff cigar.

It is a medium-bodied blend with an Aromatica Dominicana wrapper (used only for rolling this cigar!), an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and Dominican filler tobacco. 

Only eight of Davidoff's premier rollers were tasked with employing their collective expertise to fashion a Davidoff cigar that stands apart in sight, touch, and taste. The top rollers chosen have at least 15 years of rolling experience and jointly rolled over 7 million cigars.
