Diamond Crown Julius Caeser by J.C. Newman

   In May 2026, Cigar Nomads^©, together with our partners from DELION (with courtesy of Mr. Hristo Kenanski), had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished guest - Mr. Aldo Puncioni, International Sales Director (and European Brand Manager) for the historic J.C. Newman Cigar Company, America's oldest family-owned premium cigar maker. There was a strong presence of over 35 guests, mostly members of the local Cigar Nomads Sofia Chapter, as well as many friends.

   The Diamond Crown Julius Caeser was presented during the meeting. This is one of the brand's flagship cigars, distinguished by its fine Ecuadorian Havana wrapper, as well as a Dominican Republic binder. The cigar was first introduced to a wide audience in 2010, marking the 115th anniversary of J.C. Newman.

   It was fascinating to listen from the sidelines as Mr. Puncioni presented the basics of Cigar tasting, the first steps in evaluating the qualities of a cigar, the history of J. C. Newman, as well as telling interesting stories from his travels around the world, all mixed with the puff of quality tobaccos.

   We did not change the alternative style, we took advantage of the opportunity to hold the presentation in an informal place, namely in the clubhouse of one of the world's oldest motorcycle clubs, which this year will celebrate its 80th anniversary in the USA. Cigar Nomads Sofia Chapter had the pleasure of presenting Aldo with a specially made commemorative plaque, in the spirit of good military traditions.

   We sincerely hope that we will welcome Aldo back to Sofia, but the doors remain open for new meetings around the world.

Cigar Nomads^©, съвместно с Нашите партньори от ДЕЛИОН (с любезното съдействие на г-н Христо Кенански), имахме удоволствието да посрещнем скъп гост - Г-н Aldo Puncioni, European Brand Manager на J.C. Newman. Силно присъствие имаше от над 35 гости, предимно членове на местния на Cigar Nomads Sofia Chapter, както и много приятели.

   По време на срещата беше презентирана Diamond Crown Julius Caeser. Това е една от водещите пури на бранда, откроява се със своето фино Ecuadorian Havana обвивно листо, както и свързващ лист от Доминиканската Република. Пурата е представена за първи път пред широка аудитория през 2010 г., с нея е отбелязана 115 годишнина на J.C. Newman.

   Увлекателно бе да слушаш отстрани как г-н Puncioni представяше основите на Cigar tasting, на първите стъпки в оценяването качествата на пурата, историята на J. C. Newman, както и да разказва интересни истории от пътуванията си по света, а всичко това бе примесено с дим от качествени тютюни.

   Не изменихме на алтернативния стил, възползвахме се от възможността презентацията да бъде проведена на неформално място, а именно в клубната къща на един от най-старите световни мотоциклетни клубове, който тази година ще отбележи в САЩ своят 80 годишен юбилей. От Cigar Nomads Sofia Chapter имаха удоволствието да предоставят на Алдо специално изработен, в духа на добрите военни традиции, възпоменателен плакет.

   Искрено се надяваме че отново ще посрещнем Алдо в София, но остават отворени вратите и за нови срещи по света.
